Statement Of Faith

I have received a number of inquiries as to my church affiliation and/or denomination, plus what my personal beliefs are. Let me first say I greatly appreciate those who have visited this website and hopefully been reading this word. Anyone who takes the time to contact me to ask in order to be assured of where this word is coming from is also welcome, as I am of the same inquisitive mind.

My only statement of faith can be found in the words I have written; believing only that they are meant to communicate the truth of the Word of God to you in the spirit of love.

You see, we all have the ability to judge for ourselves what truth is, as communicated to us by the Spirit of Truth. If this truth is not verified by and through the Word of God then we are to disregard it. If, however, the spirit bears witness with our spirit (Romans 8:16) that these words are indeed truth then we are watered and refreshed by them.

I John 2:20
(CRESSMAN)
But the Holy One has given you a gift of understanding so that you all may know what is true.
(BBE)
I have not sent you this letter because you have no knowledge of what is true, but because you have knowledge, and because that which is false has nothing in common with that which is true.
(WMTH)
As for you, you have an anointing from the holy One and have perfect knowledge.
(WEB)
You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know the truth.

Now, I would ask, does it really matter what denomination I belong to, or what church I attend?

If I said I was a "Catholic, Methodist, Protestant, Baptist etc. and/or belong to this or that certain church...would that somehow change the words that are and have been written here in this online book?

My answer would be: "Of course not..."

But this would change your perception of what is written and possibly close your heart and mind to accept and receive them. Which means that you could be possilby missing out on a message that God specifically has for you today. Think about this, it is no accident that you are reading this, is it?

I am simply one who believes, as a Christian, I must do what I believe God has instructed me to do and write what I believe God has instructed me to write.

My one hope is that these denominational walls built by men will be broken down because we are all one body In Christ Jesus (Romans 12:5, 1 Corinthians 10:17, 1 Corinthians 12:12,13,20; Ephesians 2:16, 4:4; Colossians 3:15). This will allow our own personal paradigms to loosen and allow the freedom of the Holy Spirit to flow into the hearts and minds of those who are open and in search for the truth.

God will and can use anyone of any denomination to speak to those who have an ear to hear and an open heart to receive the Word of God as it was and still is being spoken through those, who being led by the Holy Spirit, have chosen to believe and obey Him.

I would also hope that we do not put a limit on God's ability to communicate Himself to us. The only closed heart is one that has already made the decision it knows everything and, as such, is no longer able to truly receive, grow and flourish as God has intended for every man.

Will we close ourselves to the Word spoken from those whose beliefs do not accurately and currently reflect ours?

Are we only willing to hear from those of the same denomination and so limit the scope of God's ability to inspire us with His Word and love?

I have been to many different churches in my life, which hold many differing views and beliefs, and yet I still am able to receive from God that message which was specifically meant for me at that time. I am always open to what God has to say in anyway He needs to say it and through anyone He choses to use. I also pray for everyone to be of like heart and mind...that we may grow thereby.

I am a Christian who simply believes that all men have been created with the same ability to both hear and obey the Word of God as it is being spoken to and through our hearts.

Acts 2:17
(KJV)
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh...

I would only ask that you approach this word with an open heart and see where the Spirit of God will take you, what the Spirit of God will show you and how the Spirit of God will inspire you with these truths.
