NOW, WHO ARE YOU?

Seems like a pretty easy question. One can truly define oneself by the language he uses and that is how we usually define ourselves; isn't it? The definition of a man can only be etermined by what he says and does.

When we learn to speak, we communicate ourselves to whom we are speaking. If we didn't know the language it would be near impossible to communicate, wouldn't it? What if someone asked you to send them Morse code and you didn't know it? You surely couldn't fake it, could you?

Jesus came speaking the language of God and to give that language to us. He had to die to do it. In dying He made it available to all, so now everyone can learn the language of God, Jesus. We just have to first start with the Milk, the ABC's, which is Jesus Christ. He is the A to Z, the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the all inclusive Living Word of our loving God.

Christianity is not supposed to be some high-minded theory of living forever and/or going to heaven, where the more you know, the higher your rank. Christianity is simple in its structure and faith, so everyone can partake. Just like the Alphabet.

God made it that way so everyone can enjoy everything He has prepared for us.

In this day and age of pressure and stress, with the whole of the world's system coming at us from every direction, it is nearly impossible to stay in focus for any length of time, if ever. Even among the Christian ranks, there seems to be a massive amount of information available for us to study, read, peruse and so on.

But I ask you does this help or hurt us spiritually? I have contended and still maintain that more information is not likely to make one grow in the Christian Faith, nor should it be assumed that one becomes strong from having knowledge "about" God. It is the knowledge "of" God that we need in a very personal, intimate manner.

The more knowledge we have just adds to our own disillusionment with the faith, plants seeds of doubt and skepticism about everything we think we know. We need to set and maintain focus on the one who will never change, and stay focused, without reserve or fear, regardless of the different types and kinds of "new" knowledge and/or "revelations" coming at us from all quadrants.

Jesus said: "Search the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life but they are just telling you who I am" (John 5:39)

Jesus was saying it's not a massive amount of knowledge one needs for eternal life. No, we just need to know him, personally. in order to gain the life of the ages.

Christianity is not based on how much one knows "about" a given subject(s). Christianity, true Christianity is solely and permanently based on how well you know Jesus personally.

It is this knowing Jesus that we are talking about as the Milk of God. Knowing Him in your heart, that is what counts. Knowing who He is and what He has done for us will cause us to grow and be strong like Him. MILK, it does do the body good. So now let us examine this a little further and see exactly where the Spirit is taking us.
