God wants to eliminate all doubt in these three areas of our Christian life, because they are the most important to us as Christians.

They are what really matters to Him. Think about it from a parent's standpoint.

Isn't that what really matters to you? That your children know who you are as their parents, who they are and where they came from?

That is why it is imperative that we desire the true Milk of God, the basic fundamentals of who we are and what we have because of what He has done.

Unity is built on the fact that we are able to say know and believe in the same things at the same time without any doubt at all.

We all need the realization that there is only One Way, One Truth, One Life!

In order to achieve anything in this life worthwhile, one has to be fundamentally sound, have digested the basics of a project or idea, so there is no cause for error or concern as to the strength of that which is being built or grown.

I know that, as a boy, when I was playing baseball and our team would start to experience trouble, (lose a couple of games), my coach would always bring us back to the basics; the fundamentals of the game. We would practice catching fly balls, running the bases, fielding ground balls, roles and positions on the field etc., so our game would become fundamentally strong and sound. After that we always started to win again and play together as a team. Even though the foundation and rules of baseball weren't changed and cannot be; the fundamentals of it were improved upon and so brought about a change in the performance of it.

In the very same way, the foundation of Christ has been laid and that cannot change. It is Jesus Christ and Him crucified for us. But we can improve our knowing, experientially, the fundamentals of it and so bring about a change in the performance of it.

This is where real Christian growth and maturity comes from.

I believe this writing has come from a sincere desire of the Father to return to the basic essentials of the Christian faith; to define those fundamentals; to understand what they are and their true importance in our lives as Christians. To see them as God sees them in and from His own Word, through the spirit.

"PILLARS OF TRUTH" upon which the building of the church body will always stand sure.

I believe there to be certain "first principles", certain structural truths upon which God has based the whole of His Creation. Without looking too hard one can see God has an intellect far beyond ours and yet remains simple in the system and critical application of real Christian growth.

Based on this fact, maturity in the Christian life is standing firm and sure on certain unchangeable and irrefutable basic foundational FACTS.

These foundational truths around which God, the Father has and is building His church are of the utmost importance and serve as pillars for a structure which cannot be shaken.
