I believe you are starting to get the point. It is of extreme importance to understand the definition of certain key words and/or phrases in the Word, if we, as Christians are to comprehend what God is conveying to us through His Word. I believe this has been the major drawback to us actually communicating with God the Father as He has desired us to. He is and always has been fully communicating the same thing, the same Word, the same language. We receive of Him when we get an understanding of that language according to His definition and not ours.

Man cannot understand God through mans conception of what he thinks God to be. Man has to communicate with God on God's terms. He made the language; so we have to understand it from His definitions and not ours.

Can you imagine what would happen if someone sending or receiving the Morse code decided to change the code, or just part of it? You can't do that without breaking down the lines of communication completely. The disaster that would follow would be absolutely horrendous.

This is why it is so important to understand this point. You cannot determine your own set of definitions for someone else's language. You cannot change the code without communicating this to everyone who uses the code. For complete and accurate communication to take place one has to abide by the rules or principles of the language being uses. These rules or principles were laid down when the language was first created. So in order to understand and convey the correct meaning when communicating in this language one has to use it in the way that the creator intended.

Consider the English language. If one word is misspelled there can be a breakdown of understanding in the meaning being conveyed. The slight differences such as your and you're, they're, there and their communicates completely different meanings. So in order for us to truly communicate it is imperative that we have full understanding in the strict use of the language we are using to communicate.

This is where my heart is —communicating accurate definitions of the key words and/or phrases in the Word from God's point of view so that the message and meaning is precisely conveyed.

By doing this, I hope, through the express aid of the Holy Spirit, to show God's Word in a clear, precise, lucid manner, so that all can readily grasp the truths contained therein. As we saw in the last chapter God's Word is given to us to be understood. With this I now believe it will be really understood given the light of this ongoing explanation of communication.
