| Truth Of God |

Faith and knowledge are two important points given as being completely vital to our individual and collective growth and maturity in Christ. I believe they are unmistakably woven into and with each other. In other words you can't have the one without the other. It is right here where we need to focus the whole of our attention, it is here God is telling us the sure, correct way to grow up "until we become like Christ". "Until we are all joined together in the same faith and in the same knowledge of the Son of God." A full functioning Body, The Church, of a perfectly sound Head, which is Christ. 1) Unity of Faith
This is when we all believe the same thing 2) Knowledge of the Son of God
This is when we all know the same thing Our strength of unity is directly tied to these two basic principles. This is why we are to desire, crave, the sincere true Milk of God's Word. If we are completely grounded; sure of what we know and what we believe there is no weakness. Can you see that? If we know the same thing and believe in that knowledge the same way, where is the discord, where is the disagreement? There isn't any, so there isn't anything or anyplace to sap our strength. We have become one and are growing up "to the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ." If we all know the same thing to be true then we can only believe that thing to be true, which can only mean we are in agreement with each other and in agreement, unity, and in unity, harmony, and in harmony, strength, and in strength, accomplishment, and in accomplishment, growth, and in growth, maturity, and in maturity, the completeness and ability to be filled full with God Himself, this the Goal of God! Christ in You - Christ in Us, The Hope of Glory! So, in essence, this is a sincere attempt with the most excellent aid of the Holy Spirit to help us all review the basic fundamental truths of our Christian Faith, become rooted in them, so as not to be moved by the onslaught of data and information trying to force us to conform to its outside "sense" appeal. Before we go on, I would just like to set a definition in our minds as to a key word throughout this book: |
