Do you see what is being said? There is balance; the balance is nothing but Christ and all of Christ. That's balance. Well, for how long? Until we all get it. If you've got it, give it to someone else, so they can give it to someone else, and then maybe we can get this show on the road, then maybe just maybe we can get out of here! What we have here is a failure to communicate! It's an identity crisis that strikes at the very core of our being, the very heart of the Church. To Paul, "Christ crucified" was "The whole Gospel". Not just a convenient part of the Gospel, but the whole Gospel. He realized that there were some men among them who were going to come in with their practiced arts, their schooled ways of thinking, their polished look, their suave demeanor, their high-minded rhetoric and try to fool the Church into believing they were someone other than who they were. You know what?...I wonder what would happen if John the Baptist showed up right now and started in with his message? We would probably kick Him out of the Church as a crazy homeless person, if he wasn't dressed with a suit and tie, because we're better than that now; aren't we? We've got a little more class, don't we? Paul's gospel was the heart of the message to the Church; he was commissioned directly by Jesus Himself to bring this message to us. We just haven't been able to figure it out with our great natural carnal minds, so it has gone unnoticed, untaught and untouched for a long time.
But, not now Brethren, there is a movement of God in this time that isn't going to let this thing die, again. This is the message, this is the Milk, this is the Word, and this is the language of the latter rain. Hey, you know what? I think it's starting to drizzle, come on in and take a look. The Gospel to the Church is that which edifies all; it is that which doesn't separate one from another; it is that which gives us our true identity IN HIM. All this other stuff you can have, it's worthless, it doesn't mean a thing and it really doesn't do anything to promote growth. Hey, that's what Paul said, not me. The Gospel, the good news, the New Testament is all that happened to Jesus Christ from the cross to the right hand of the Father. Nothing of His earthly ministry counted towards our redemption IN HIM, except the fact that He was given a body. That's right, that's the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help me God! Would you be saved right now, if there was no sacrifice? Would you be saved right now if He wasn't crucified for you? Would you be saved right now if God hadn't raised Him from the dead? Would you be saved right now if He didn't defeat the devil and his cohorts in hell? I don't think so. Think. Think it all out. All His earthly ministry did was fulfill His calling to take on a body. It was nice while He was here, but that was not the reason He was here.
HE DIDN'T COME TO HEAL AND CAST DEMONS OUT
ALTHOUGH HE DID HE DIDN'T COME TO GIVE US GREAT PARABLES OF LIFE ALTHOUGH HE DID HE CAME TO DIE AND DIE HE DID! THE GOSPEL OF THE NEW TESTAMENT BELIEVER IS NOT ONE OF IMITATION BUT ONE OF IDENTIFICATION We find out who He is in us, we except that fact and we allow Him to substitute Himself for our self and the journey begins in God. It starts with a word, grows with definition of key words and/or prepositional phrases, and ends with a language. All we have to say is I die, IN CHRIST! |
