The only true way to grow is to stay hooked up to the source who supplies the growth. He feeds us His life as we continually walk in a conscious union with Him. Totally aware at all times of who He is, what He has accomplished for us and who we are because of this. Now, the only way to be conscious of our union with Him is to meditate on the things that would promote that consciousness, right?

We need to identify with the things He says are true for these things to be true in us. You see, they are true, whether we believe in them or not. But, once we receive them, as He says they are, then we have intimate experience with Him. He is the Vine and we are the branches, the branches cannot bear fruit if they are not directly connected to Him at all times.

All things Christ has accomplished and give to us, His wisdom, His righteousness, His sanctification and His redemption are actually now, right now, ours. We just need to identify with Him in the growth and development process of those things. This is when they become real working truths in our lives, as they are in His.

If I want to be conscious of football I watch football, I read football, I study football, and I identify with football. Then what happens when someone asks me a question about football? I can answer it because that is what I have become conscious of. This same principle works here. What we choose to identify with becomes our life, our livelihood, our source for joy, sorrow, meaning and all things. Where we choose to invest our being, is where our being will be.

Let us earnestly seek who we really have become IN CHRIST, who we really are on the inside. Not who we think we are, but who He has made us to be. The world is contantly trying to convince us that sense knowledge and reason is the only way to perform and live in this life. This world view would have you believe that nothing exists outside the realm of our physical dimensions. We should be proving them wrong in every way. The spirit is what is real. The spirit is what truth is. The spirit is what will remain when all else has been shaken and destroyed.

Not this world, not what we think, only what we know and we should know only Him, Christ Jesus, our one true Lord and Savior, through whom the fountain of all life flows. That fountain filled with blood, drawn from Immanuel's vein, where sinners plunged beneath the flood lose all their guilt and shame, lose all their guilt and shame.

Just think about it for a minute or two, O.K., please? He is everything and all things all at once and forever more. Everything we could ever need or hope for is found only IN HIM.

He knows all things and He is more than willing to share all He knows with us as we come to Him and put aside what we think is true and accept Him who is Truth.

• ² That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
• ³ In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
• ⁴ And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.

"For God's secret plan, now at last made known, is Christ himself."

There is nothing more true of Christianity and who you are then this one statement.

Dear Brethren, I would that you take these things before, my God and your God, before my Father and your Father. See for yourselves if they be truth. Let God Himself show your inner man who you really are, In Him and then dwell on that always. He is Lord of lords and King of kings; He will show you that with great pleasure, which is His will, His purpose, His plan for us IN CHRIST!
