What more are we requiring of God? He sent His only Son into the world to die, so that we by Him might have life, the GodLife. God has given us His ability in this earth to perform His will. It is only when we awake and arise to see this fact that we truly begin to participate with Him in this work. Let's look at this.

PHILIPPIANS 2:2
(KJV)
Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind…
(Robert G. Herbert)
make my joy complete by being of one mind, by having mutual love, by being sympathetic, and by having a feeling of unity…
(Clarence Jordan)
make me completely happy by being harmonious, by having the same love, co-thinkers, people of a single purpose…
(Gospel Of God)
The utmost limit of my joy will be seen when you are operating in tune with each other, expressing mutual GodLove, being united in spirit, producing a consistency of intention and activity…
(J. W. C. Wand)
by recollection of this experience I implore you to be united in counsel, in sympathy, in purpose…
(Arthur S. Way)
fill up the measure of my joy, by being one in purpose, cherishing the same love; one in soul, animated by the same aspirations...

"People of a single purpose". "Producing a consistency of intention and activity". "Animated by the same aspirations"! I can't believe he actually said that. That is great stuff! Anyway, look deep at what is being said here, and this is just one of a bevy of scriptures referring to the desire of the Father for us to operate and function with one mind and purpose, "animated by the same aspirations".

Let us take a minute and just think about this, think it through.

How are we going to be "co-thinkers"? How are we going to be "united in counsel"? If this is what God wants, then how are we to get there? If this is what God wants, then how are we going to do this?

Really, come on, think, ask yourself this question. What would be the most efficient way to form a group "united in counsel"? We should all arrive at the same place here, with the same answer, shouldn't we? The answer is for us to all learn the same language, is it not?

If we really are to be "of one mind", "operating in tune with each other", then it only goes to show that we must be playing in the same key, right? Singing the same song, right? Well how can we sing the same song if we don't know the words or the music? Do you see what I'm trying to get at? This is vital in understanding the will of God in our individual lives and in our lives as a Church body.

If we don't understand this point, we are considered as a ship without a rudder, a car without a steering wheel, an empty room without a view.

The only way to literally be of one mind is to know and speak the same language, is it not? Think about it for a minute. Think it all through, break it down to its most primitive form. One mind, one language. Concerted in thought, one language. United in counsel; one speech. One in soul; one language. That's what brought God down from Heaven when the people of old were building that tower.

The language of God...

is the only language in existence whereby people can enjoin themselves and become so in harmony that one can scarcely tell them apart. It is the language of God explained and imparted to us by God that is bringing us into concert with God.

God wants us to be one with Him, His will and His purpose. One with Him in His Purpose. One with Him in His Goal. The only way for this to take place in the earth is for us to learn the language of God, from God. We have to go to Him for His definitions, for His understanding; letting the Spirit of Truth lead us and guide us into all truth.

What do you think we will be if that is the way we have eventually learned to function? Speaking the same things; doing the same things; focusing on the same things. The things, yes, and all the things of God.
