What are words and what exactly is their importance? We see how important they are to God and the effect they have on mankind. Let me approach this from another view point. When you really think about it everything that exists in this world is made of words. Without words we would not be able to communicate at all.

Sure there are "signs" and "signals" but these also are used to communicate meaning. A meaning found only in words. The only way that we really know each other is to talk to each other, right? Everything rests on the words we speak and being able to communicate through the medium of words. Can you get the picture of what I'm saying?

Everything is made of words. The worlds were framed by the Word of God. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was made flesh. Words existed before anything else. We and everything else in this world is strictly and entirely made up of words.

The words we think, the words we say, the words we hear, the words we act on, the words which act on us. In this world of strictly words, we exist and impart to each other our words. Words of love, patience, health, peace, hate, violence, war, etc. They all play an important role in who we are, how we are made and how we live. Can you see that? Now, take a moment here. Stop reading, and think about it for a minute. We truly live in a world of words.

Word carry the substance of what this world is made of and who we are. The better able we are at handling these words we have learned and know, the better we are at communicating and functioning in this world with each other. How did we acquire such a trait, where did we get such knowledge and to whom do we owe our astuteness in the use of these words, this language we speak?

It is the accumulation of years of training and instruction and it all started with the ABC's. Wow, remember them? What a pain, right? Ahhh, yes but what great dividends now being paid to each and every one of us who have had the opportunity to have been taught and so learned!

Not only are there thousands of different actual spoken languages, as in English, German, Russian etc., but even each particular job, career we have, has its own particular language. The work you do has its own certain key word definitions and phrases that apply particularly to that trade, to what you do and how you do it.

You yourself know how hard it is to express your work to those who are unfamiliar with your line of business. Even our spouses find it hard, at times, to understand what we are talking about when we are discussing our work and our work environment. However, the more important thing is actually being able to communicate to those we work with, isn't it?

Can you see how important it is to accurately communicate in your work environment regardless of what you do? It is the very crux of success! Communicating, now more than ever, has a premium on its head. Total, complete communication is of more value now than ever before. It's those of us who know the language of our work that are of the most value to that work.

Companies realize this, CEO's know this, they want the guy who's been there, they want the guy with the
experience, they want the guy who has lived in that realm and understands that particular language. They want the guy who knows all the ins and outs of it and can explain it in a number of ways, so that everyone would be able to understand. This is of the utmost importance, not only in the workplace, but everywhere. People are wanting people who know the language of their craft, and the more knowledgeable the better.
