Now, can you see how important it was for God to come down and stop them in Babel? He has a complete understanding of these things which stretch way beyond the scope of our natural reason. He had to come down. He had to put a stop to that work.

Those people were all dead in sin and were reproducing it in harmony. God said this will not be so, this is not good, and I'm going to put a stop to this right now. And He did. Language, what an important part, a vital part, of our everyday life!

God's language, even more so because it contains who He is. It contains what He is made of; life, substance, and the essence of eternal life. He is a life giving spirit. This is why it is so important for us to comprehend Him in His own Words, because they alone contain Him, who He is and what He is made of.

It is when we drop our own pretensions about the Word, come and learn from Him, we get real meaning, life giving substance for our own spirit, for our own soul and for our own body. Let Him form His language in us and we will be complete, perfect in life, and filled with light.

Every thought coming out from Him paying tribute to His nature and authority; forming a new language inside us. A God language which is continually transforming us into His very image and likeness. Every thought and intent being radically altered to reflect His will and purpose. Every intent bent on seeing His will brought out to this dead and dying world. Our thought life formed by our language is transformed, from within, through the process of absorption and assimilation into the language of God.

2 CORINTHIANS 10:5
(KJV)
casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;
(NAS)
{We are} destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and {we are} taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,
(Darby)
overthrowing reasonings and every high thing that lifts itself up against the knowledge of God, and leading captive every thought into the obedience of the Christ;
(NIV)
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
(Amplified)
[Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ

We absorb and assimilate His Word into our hearts and minds which causes a complete change of our person. The substance of His Word, of His life overtakes us. We learn to speak His language working His life substance into us changing our nature into who He is. We no longer are who we are but become who He is in us.

This is a complete and total metamorphosis of our thought life.
He must increase, we must decrease.

It's our life transformed into His life. It is when we feed on the living organism of His Word we are changed, His life, His substance gets into us and transforms us into His very own children, in His likeness, in the very image of God, Himself.

This works when we allow our heart to speak from His Spirit the words He has given to us. Speaking His Word gives His substance to our lifes.

His Word contains Life, and that Life is what we have all been desirous of, since we were given birth. He created us this way so we would come to Him, so we would know He alone has the Life, is the Life and gives the Life, freely to all who ask.
