He comes down and says: "Hey look at this will you?" "One people all speaking the same language! Well, I never"…, and then He goes on to say that whatever they want to do, they can do. Why? The harmony in the way they talked and what they said. This is the realm of perfect communication.

That's big, that's real big, for God Almighty Himself to say that nothing can stop them from whatever they have a mind to do! Now, how important do you think our vocabulary is? How important is our communication with each other?

Our communication and understanding of each other is of the utmost importance if we, as Christians, are to accomplish anything here on earth for His Glory.

If man, as mere man, without the help of God, can surprise God in his accomplishments, because of the unity of their language, than imagine what we as Christians, with the aid of God, can accomplish within the unity of our speech and language.

God comes down here and says: "LOOK!" "BEHOLD!" "Wow, look at what these guys are doing, right here in front of Me." "This is as close to heaven on earth as there ever has been, since the Garden" "Now that they have all learned to speak the same language, now that they all have a precise understanding of the words they speak with each other, is there nothing impossible for them?"

I believe God came to take a look because of the way they were talking to each other. No arguments, no disagreements, no complaining, no strife, no envy. He must have thought He was in Heaven, Huh? It's almost as if He was getting a little worried, if it were possible. Well, He does say nothing will be withheld from them. So, I believe, in the eyes of the Father, he was a wee bit concerned.

Can you see what I'm saying here? The most important thing to ever happen on earth, excluding the creation and Jesus coming to save man, is happening right here!

God has to come down and do something. The people were all saying the same things, the people were all of one mind, of one purpose, and actually brought God out of Heaven to take a look at what was happening! He was so moved by what was taking place that He decided He better intervene. Otherwise, something might again take place, only on a larger scale. He had to stand up and take notice.
