But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, in your hearts, so that you don't need anyone to teach you what is right. For he teaches you all things, and he is the Truth, and no liar; and so, just as he has said, you must live in Christ, never to depart from him.

but the enlightenment from the Holy Ghost which has come through Christ abides with you, and you do not need natural teachers, but as the anointing of the Holy Ghost enlightens you in all things and never deceives you, so the teaching that you ever continue to abide in Him is correct.

But as for yourselves, the spiritual anointing which you have received from Christ Himself, remains in you, and you have no need that any should teach you; but as the spiritual anointing which comes from Him teaches you about all things, and is trustworthy, and no deception, so you must remain in union with Him, just as He has taught you to do.

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit-- just as it has taught you, remain in him.
"That anointing is real and not counterfeit" it is that "counterfeit" part, we are at war with. That which raises its ugly head against the knowledge of God. Through the anointing that we all have within us we are able to distinguish the worlds wisdom from the Wisdom of God. It is that anointing that tells us, witnesses to our spirit, what is true and what is a lie. Now, please, please do not be misunderstanding here. We all need to go to church, and to go to bible study. We all need to make ourselves available to His Word as much as we can, when we can. The thing I am pointing out here is that God has His way of teaching us through the men and women of the Word we listen to. If we are abiding in God and listening to Him and for Him to speak through them then we are O.K. But if we listen to them with the belief that everything they say is of God and for us to understand at that time then we are sorely mistaken. We need to learn to let God speak to us personally through those He has brought us to teach us His Word. He is the teacher. They are the ones who are speaking the Word so we can hear it. Once spoken to our hearts and not our heads it becomes a part of us and we learn to know God. Otherwise we are just learning "about" God. Do you understand? Do you see the difference? One is fake and one is real. The Words we hear spoken to our hearts are from God. |
