O.K., I said all that, just to say this:
THE WISDOM OF GOD IS A REVELATION
THE WISDOM OF THE WORLD IS SENSE KNOWLEDGE THE WISDOM OF GOD IS "KNOWING" GOD THE WISDOM OF THE WORLD IS KNOWING "ABOUT" GOD THE WISDOM OF GOD IS ABSOLUTE TRUTH THE WISDOM OF THE WORLD IS A LIE THE WISDOM OF GOD IS ETERNAL THE WISDOM OF THE WORLD IS TEMPORARY Let's look at the word "revelation" for an even clearer picture. O.K.? Ohh come on you know how much I like definitions. It can only get better, remember it's a jungle out here and the better equipped we are the longer we are going to survive. As we can clearly see from the above definitions it is a "disclosure" a "manifestation", "a laying bear" a revealing of the truth to the heart. An opening of the mind through the belief of the heart to be receptive to that which is being communicated from the spirit, the realm of God. Vine's says it as: "the communication of the knowledge of God to the soul", that couldn't be more accurate. What I would also like to add is, it is communicating truth or rather the truth of God. This "revelation" this unveiling of something that has hither to been hid is of God, by God, through God, and in God alone. What is it that is being revealed, or rather what is it that has been hid, it is the truth, the truth that makes you free, the truth of the Glorious Gospel of God and His Kingdom, His Living Word, His Illustrious Language. So having somewhat of an understanding of "revelation" from and of God, let's look to the Word. This will serve as a great example of exactly what revelation is to us from the Father Himself and with it be a springboard to communicate all of who and what God is in relation to His Word and His Life, as we go on. EPHESIANS 3:3,5

This is a very important point to comprehend. It is the foundational truth upon which all truth is laid; that it is communicated to us by God Himself and no physical characteristic or application of ours can cause this to happen. It is not, nor ever can be information which is "sense" knowledge based, or information we gather with one or all of our five physical senses. (Sense knowledge is defined as something perceived or known in and/or through our five physical senses in relation to this physical world). |
