It was God's plan that all would receive of the same Spirit, because all would be given the same ability to do so. Everything God has revealed has been freely revealed to our spirit. The foundation has been laid; has already been put there by God. It is in our search for the comprehension of the divine design that we will now begin to see, understand, and absorb these truths as our own; as we open up to the Father allowing our hearts to be illuminated through the agency of the Spirit.

It's like trying to understand someone explaining to you about snorkeling in the ocean. Well he can tell you all he wants to about the ocean but until you go to the ocean and jump in, do it yourself, you won't really experience what he is talking about.

Praise God! He has given us all the equipment we need to go snorkeling in the Word and He leads the way by and through His Own Self, His Own Spirit.

God understands Himself only He can take of Himself and show all ow who He is to us, via the spirit!

And if we are to receive of the Spirit of God, that "Spirit of Truth", we are to seek those things in and of the spirit. That is the only place where they truly do exist and are laid open for all to see and hear and absorb.

This is quite lucid here. The Word says the only one who knows what you are thinking is you; the only one who knows what God is thinking is God. So doesn't it follow if we are to know what God is thinking then he's going to have to tell us? Doesn't it make perfect sense that in order for us to understand the things of God, God Himself has to explain them to us? He has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts whereby we cry "Abba, Father"!

It is only in and through the Spirit of God we can know the things of God, these things freely given to us by God.

We haven't been given a spirit that doesn't allow us to know Him that wouldn't be very nice, would it? What good could it truly be to have God Almighty living in you and not be able to comprehend all the dimensions of His Love and Life?
