Now really think about it, if we say everyone can know God and all of God, than no one is better than anyone else, right? Then if that is true, and it is, where would the jealousy, envy, strife, ambition, competition and every other evil come from. If we all knew that we all could know God at the same level, wouldn't that eliminate anyone being any better than anybody else? Wouldn't it? Well, wouldn't it? Isn't that what the Word says? God doesn't look at anyone as better than anyone else, does He? No, according to God, we all are the same in the spirit. There is no difference, we are all spirits in the spirit of Him who died for us. And He that is joined to the Lord is One in the spirit with Him. It would be like working at that Fortune 100 company. Here they have hired us to do a job. But instead of all of us being trained by the same people at the same time, they decide to do something different. What would have happened if they just had us come in and watch the machine being built? Here we sit for eight months waiting to run this machine and we are watching someone else build it. O.K., got the picture? Now as it is being built, the builders, let's say there are four different builders Harry, Bob, Mike and Tom; are telling us how they are building this machine. Each one is knowledgeable about the whole machine and yet only responsible for a certain part. The only problem is that we can't listen to all of them all at once. So we each pick a builder who we think we like, who sounds good to us and we listen to them. Then comes time to run the machine. Now we all come together to run the machine and no one knows what to do or where to start. Why? Because the importance of certain things were expressed only according to which builder we were listening to. They weren't responsible for the whole thing, so they could only tell us about the part they built. So now we are all together and none of us knows the same things. How well do you think the machine is going to run? Do you actually think we will be able to run it? I don't think so. C-R-A-S-H! Why, what did this do? Well, we are separated because of our knowledge. We all haven't learned from the same source. Our knowledge base is different. We are at odds with each other about what is more important. We think we know how to start the machine, Bob told us to do it this way. Others think they know how to start the machine, because Tom worked on that section and he knows more about it. Still others say Harry has been around longer than the other three and he really knows the whole machine better, so we should run it like this. Well wait a minute here, what's going on? Sounds like some of us are thinking one thing, some of us are thinking another. Sounds like we are being divided and we can't operate the machine this way. It takes all of us, together. The only way it's going to go is if we run it the same way with the same knowledge base. Remember Babel? One kind of wisdom separates and one kind brings together. The wisdom of the world breeds competitionThe wisdom of God breeds peace. The wisdom of the world separates. The wisdom of God brings us together. One is of the reason and says I can figure God out by knowing all about him. |
