Well it sure makes sense to me. We have just been told for too long that we can't know God, know all of God and we have come to believe it. It's a shame that God in His great mercy with which He loved us, gave up His Son for us and we turn around telling Him we can't know Him. Don't you think that God has the ability to communicate Himself, and all of Himself to us, if we would just let him? Who ever is telling you that God can't be known, tell him otherwise O.K.? Tell him you serve a God that can be known! You serve a God who loves to give us everything we need when we need it. You serve a God who is not unkind but rather takes joy in the prosperity of His people. Spirit and Soul and Body. He wishes above all things that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. Think how much more it would mean to Godif we knew Him on His level He would finally get to tell us things we could understand. He would finally get to show us things we could comprehend. Just think how much joy that would bring to the Father's heart. Think about how much praise and glory He would receive from those who know Him on His level. That's what that scripture means by prospering even as your soul prospers. It means the more we get to know of God, the more we get to know of God, the more we get to know of God. If that isn't prosperity I don't know what is. It is the only kind of prosperity that's really worth anything in the long run. It's the only thing you can take with you when you leave so what good is anything else? And how much better will it be when we get there and we know Him as He knows us already. We just have to get to looking where He is. "In The Promised Land", the Land that was promised is Christ, He came, He saw, He conquered, We Won! Praise God! Let's go take the Land! Go in and Possess it, even as our soul prospers! Stop with the talking and get with the listening. All things. Man, I like that, "ALL THINGS". There isn't one thing missing in that is there? No, didn't think so. Now brother, you know the Bible says "we see through a glass darkly...now I know in part..." Well, I was wondering when someone was going to get to that, actually I was literally praying someone would. Here we go, and hold on. Has anyone ever looked at that whole passage? That is what we know or what is known as the LOVE Chapter, right? Through a Glass, Darkly? |
