The soul is nothing more than a mirror of what's in the world or what's in the spirit. It is a pliable substance that is conformed or transformed, not dependent on the information, but dependent on the method or way the information is imparted; from the outside in or the inside out.

The method is what determines the shape of the soul.
The method is what determines the way your soul works.
The method is the way you train your soul to work.
The method is what trains your soul to work.
The method is what trains your soul to be focused, either inward on God or outward, on the material world of the senses.

You can have a mind full of God's Word without it being renewed.
Let me say that again.
You can have a mind that is full of God's Word, but that doesn't mean you have a renewed mind.

Mind renewal is not determined by the amount of the Word one has in his mind.
It is determined by the quality of expression one has of God which flows from his heart through his soul.

If mind renewal was based on the amount of The Word we had in our mind then unsaved people of the world could renew their minds. A Christian isn't a Christian because he can memorize the Bible. Anyone can do that. A Christian is one who has believed in the Word and that belief has given him new life in Christ, through that Word. Now there comes with that new life a new world to live out from, out of. A Christian is one who can truly express Christ to the people of this world from their heart. In order to be able to express your new life in Christ, your mind has to be renewed to allow the flow of God out of the spirit into your heart and through, through, through your mind.

If your mind was a reservoir of water that wasn't moving, inward or outward, it would be lifeless. A stagnant pool of water contains no life, no matter how many fish you put into it.

Real soul salvation is the actual transformation of the soul into the mind of Christ.
Flowing out from the spirit through the breathings of God and the obedience of our heart.

The Word learned through the avenue of the mind without the breath of God, is just a bunch of head knowledge that has no power from the spirit, no power of the truth to set you free. It is opinionated and unfounded. It is that which lifts itself up above all, because it knows more, or rather it thinks it knows more.

It bases its power on the quantity of knowledge it has of the Bible and not the quality of knowledge it has with God. We are living in a very dangerous society today. A society that has put knowledge above everything else. Society believes the more knowledge it has the better it is able to fix its problems. Sorry, it doesn't work like that. Just look at the "progress" of the world, is it getting better or worse? The soul cannot save the soul, only God through His Word can save your soul.

The amplification of the soul through the accumulation of sense knowledge information is going to destroy this known world. Knowledge is not power. Gospel knowledge, God knowledge is true, real power. Knowing God personally, having an established relationship with Him is what counts, nothing more, nothing less.

The truly renewed mind will be eagerly waiting to reflect God from the heart, as the Word flows to it and through it.

The mind that thinks it is renewed is constantly feeding itself with more knowledge "about" God, and ignoring the breath of God. Now, if the mind that is focused on the mind is full of Bible verses and passages, is it renewed, saved? No. The truly renewed soul is attentive completely to what the Father is saying from the realm of the Spirit and listens to His voice, not the voice of his mind.

The voice of the mind can use the Word of God however it wants, that doesn't mean it is renewed. That is just a mind full of the Bible which thinks it is saved. Do you truly understand what I am saying or have you given up on me completely? There is an order, a pattern, a process of growth that God has intended for all His children. If that process is fulfilled, so are we.

The stream is only running in one direction. God is a God of order. He never is in a hurry. He never does anything out of His set progression. His methods never change. He doesn't change His way of doing what He does. Everything has a time and everything in it's time. That is the way God works, and if we are doing something any other way, it is not God. He knows how to grow us in His Life.

Growth is not a bunch of events taking place out of sequence, then all of a sudden coming together at the end of the process.
