| Flow Of God |

Now, to take it one step farther. What I believe to be mankind's soul is the mind and emotions, with a direct influence on the will. I do not want to get into a discussion about this, because that is not the point of this writing. There is plenty of material available to explain the operation and composition of Man. I think we all, basically, believe the same things and that is what are truly important. When I do reference the mind, I have a tendency to interchange the mind, and the soul. It would be good for us to know how I intend to use these terms in order for us all to have an understanding from the same point of view. O.K., now that I have gotten that out of the way, let us go on. Well, we might as well start from where we are in The Promised Land flowing with Milk and Honey. Flowing with Milk and Honey. Flowing with Milk and. Flowing with Milk. Flowing with. Flowing. Flowing? Ahh, there we go, knew I would get there sooner or later. Flowing. That is the key folks. Flowing in the Promised Land with all the Milk and Honey we have been blessed with, going in and on from there. Soul Salvation is easy once we understand who is really doing the saving and who is just going along with the plan, going with the flow. It is not as much our work as it is His Work, through the Spirit and in the Word. The Spirit speaks the Word to our heart we receive that Word in our soul obeying it, through our body, to produce the fruit. Got it? O.K., that's all there is to it. Thanks, it's been fun writing this chapter and I pray you recieve understanding... "What? What did you say?" Well, O.K., if you insist, I can tell you this: The more time we spend in the Word, the more flow we will get from the Father, the more He will talk to us through His Word, in the Spirit. Hey it isn't a complicated process we are talking about. The real issue here is the misunderstanding and the misinterpretation we have been subjected to, so now our minds are misinformed, trying to do a process, which should have been quite natural, once we became a Christian. Anyone ever hear of "paralysis from over analysis"? Do you know what I mean? There was a point, a few years back, when "mind renewal" was the main topic of discussion and I don't think anyone ever really understood it thoroughly. Neither was it communicated correctly. Now I don't mean to step on any toes here, but the most difficult pill to swallow, in this, is the fact that your mind is not a repository for the Word. Yes, that's right. It is not a storage house for the Word of God, wasn't meant to be. The most frustrating time I had as a Christian was trying to "renew my mind". I mean this from the bottom of my heart. Honestly, I tried every avenue there was, I read everyone's teaching on the subject, listened to everyone's tape too. If I was a Christian then I wanted to be the best Christian there was. If that meant I needed to "renew my mind", then bless God, that's what I was going to do. I am sometimes a little zealous in my efforts to understand and absorb the things of God. I just want to know Him. To know all of Him there is to know, to know as much of God as is possible, while I am here, in this body. To be involved in as deep of a relationship with God our Father, as anyone can be, given our present situation in this physical restraint. Anyone out there like that? Ahhh, I did see some hands go up, great. Stick around for awhile, and hopefully, we will get this "mind renewal", soul salvation discussion rolling with some good stuff. When everyone was talking about renewing the mind - getting the mind renewed – the key to victorious Christian living - got to get the mind saved - soul salvation - think the Word - eat the Word - live the Word - act on the Word - obey the Word - memorize the Word - confess the Word - remember the Word - get the Word in your mind - let the Word drop down into your spirit...Whoa! Let the Word drop down into your spirit? Did I just say that? |
